Why Counselling?

We all have moments when we need to reflect. Life may feel overwhelming. We may be experiencing trauma, anxiety, loss or grief. Counselling can help at times like these. The aim of counselling is to help you gain awareness of yourself. In doing so, you will be able to make choices, which in turn can lead to profound change.

What is counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy. Its aim is help you find a fresh perspective on your life. I am impartial and will listen to you without judgement, but with empathy, compassion and understanding. I will not tell you what to do, but I will help you to find your own solutions by journeying with you.

What happens in Counselling?

Initially we will have a free 30 minute introductory session. To establish what it is you want from therapy.
The sessions are designed to meet your needs. I can offer 60 minutes or 90 minutes, weekly or fortnightly. Here we will explore you, your life and what concerns you. Although there may be times when this is hard, I would encourage you to trust the process and take the journey to a more positive and empowered you.

Am I living in a way which is deeply satisfying to me, and which truly expresses me?
